Here's a little doosey. Terri and I went on a hike to Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon today to check out the beautiful fall colors. Too bad you can't see them in this foto.

the colors are changing up in the mountains already! Lots of reds and oranges. The yellow aspen are just starting to come out. I took this from the car driving down the canyon on my way to school after working up in Park City. We hope to get up for a hike this weekend, so if we have good weather, keep your eyes out for more pics.

Well, this site has felt a little left out, being all over shadowed by the wedding photos on the T1T2 site. But here's a shot from the site of our hypothetical studio project.

The entrance from the casino side to THEhotel. Don't remember if I already asked, but if you have photos from the wedding, and would like to send us a CD, or copies or something, that would be awesome! I could even use them as something like a special guest appearance on the blog. Like "Featuring special guest photography by (insert your name here)!"

And here's one taken by Regan (aka Ronald) that you may one day find hanging in the MOMA. It's a masterpiece. I like it because you can see my ring. And don't worry, my leg healed up nicely after Shawn took a chunk out of my calf.

Here's one more detail of the hotel room. This is in the "guest bathroom". You can see how the wall pattern blends as the light becomes less direct. It's nice because if it didn't do this the bathroom would be really busy. But you only see the pattern some of the time depending on how you're looking at it. 

This was one of the wall coverings at the hotel. It was textured as if it were woven, but it wasn't. It was really cool however they did it. It had a shine a reflective quality. 

This is still one of my favorite things about the hotel in LV. 

Here's a little pre-wedding action with the groomsmen. Sam dumped one of the buckets of balls down the hill. I managed to save a few of them, but it was pretty funny seeing a bunch of bright yellow golf balls bouncing down the trail to the first tee. 

This is from the hotel we stayed at in Las Vegas. It's called THEhotel, and is part of Mandalay Bay. Very beautiful suite rooms. This is a picture of the guest bathroom's THEtp, and really neat wall covering that has reflective swirls.

This is the newest addition to the collection at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN. It was designed by Herzog and de Meuron. The exterior is clad in a diamond perforated stamped aluminum panel. Very nice stuff.

Matt took a wrong turn on the trail, but fortunately for him, his balance is excellent and he was able to hold there until help came.
