I'm a little behind on daily updates, so you'll get a few today. This is the remains of an old Ford Custom near our site in the desert.

This is our friend Yoda. It's a theodolite used to find and measure changes in elevation. It's a pretty fantastic instrument.

Here's a photo of my latest project for school. I only slept an hour or 2 last night. Awesome. But my final presentation was today so at least that's out of the way. Still have a lot of other stuff due this week. I hate the end of the semester.

Here's a little doosey. Terri and I went on a hike to Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon today to check out the beautiful fall colors. Too bad you can't see them in this foto.

the colors are changing up in the mountains already! Lots of reds and oranges. The yellow aspen are just starting to come out. I took this from the car driving down the canyon on my way to school after working up in Park City. We hope to get up for a hike this weekend, so if we have good weather, keep your eyes out for more pics.
